There are lots of ways members of the community can help us protect and preserve our environment and join us in the journey towards sustainability.
If you are a community group, school or business that would like to undertake a project or activity on land managed by the City please submit your request online

Environment and Sustainability Community groups
There are a number of volunteer groups that take part in a variety of environmental activities and awareness raising. If you would like to get involved and help protect our local environment please contact them to find out more.
Chapman River Friends
Chapman River Friends (CRF) are a group of volunteers who help in the rehabilitation of the Chapman River Regional Park.
CRF have developed a flora app to easily identify wildflowers in the Park. The 'CRFwildflowers' app is available in your App store. A hardcopy booklet of the wildflower ID brochure can also be purchased from the Geraldton Visitor Centre and Museum of Geraldton.
